Hello again –

I’m Mika, a UX designer and researcher from Hawai’i currently in LA working at Beyond Limits on enterprise AI software rooted from NASA technologies. While studying Cultural Anthropology and New Media at UC Berkeley, I found my passion trying to understanding people and how cultural differences affect the way we each interact with the world around us. I then pursued my Master’s in User Centered Design at Brandeis University, where I integrated my curiosity in cultures with how they can adapt and grow in harmony with technology.

With that in mind, I hope to curate impactful experiences that embrace the diversity of people – focusing on adaptability, intrigue and innovation in my work. This is my approach to UX.

Outside of design, I am often found baking sweet treats, planning my next trip, snapping film photos and doing the daily Wordle.
